Epic Games are celebrating Star Wars Day with the Fortnite 20.30 update, so here are the full patch notes including bug fixes.
The Fortnite 20.30 patch is here, celebrating Star Wars Day by bringing back Lightsabers and adding new challenges. Here are the patch notes for Fortnite’s 20.30 update, as well as the Wanda Maximoff skin being accidentally revealed.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is in full swing, but Epic are showing no signs of slowing down. A new batch of Street Fighter skins were added recently, and fans are convinced that an Attack on Titan crossover is on the way.
The battle royale is also being supplied with regular updates, with patch 20.20 adding the new Ranger Shotgun and Prowler skin. Fortnite’s update 20.30 is now here, bringing Star Wars content for May 4, a Wanda Maximoff skin, and bug fixes.
Here’s everything included in the Fortnite 20.30 patch, from leaked content to bug fixes.
May 4 is Star Wars Day 2022, and to celebrate, Lightsabers have returned and the new E-11 Blaster Rifle has arrived with Fortnite’s 20.30 update — including Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Lightsaber.
The Fortnite map is set to get a Star Wars overhaul for the May 4 celebration, with an Imperial Star Destroyer floating in the sky and Stormtrooper Checkpoints mentioned in the Star Wars Day challenges that are set to go live immediately after downtime ends.
We would expect Star Wars skins such as Rey and the Stormtrooper to return to the Item Shop but with the Obi-Wan Kenobi series set to start on May 27 on Disney+ and his Lightsaber arriving, fans will be hoping to see the famous Jedi make his Fortnite debut.

Alongside the Star Wars day celebrations, Shotguns have been rebalanced in Fortnite’s 20.30 update.
Epic Games explained that “These changes will increase the damage for most shots (including headshots)” and Shotguns have also been given a ‘max damage cap,’ which affects “how much maximum damage a single shot can deal.”
You can check out all of the changes below:
Fortnite fans have been looking for a Wanda Maximoff skin since WandaVision debuted back in January 2021, and it appears the Scarlet Witch will finally be arriving in time for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Spotted by leaker iFireMonkey, Epic Games revealed the Wanda Maximoff skin in the Creative Item Docs ahead of the 20.30 update. The page has now been taken down, but it appears the Scarlet Witch will finally be arriving in Fortnite soon.
But bear in mind that Wanda’s arrival isn’t guaranteed, as Epic Games haven’t officially confirmed her skin.

On top of the new and returning content, the 20.30 patch will also implement a number of fixes for ongoing issues within the game.
Based on Epic’s official Trello board, we’re expecting the following problems to be resolved:

Week 7’s Quests are live, and players need to “Recover stolen Sevens supplies at IO locations,” three times. Finding these stolen Seven supplies can be tough, so we’ve detailed all their locations and the best route to find them all in one match.
There are eight sets of stolen Seven supplies to be found around the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 island, all found at IO-controlled locations.
Here’s every stolen Seven supply location in Chapter 3 Season 2:
We recommend that players head to Logjam Lumberyard to complete this Quest in only one game. Starting at Logjam Lumberyard, players can then head to The Fortress and Command Cavern to collect all of the Seven supplies in one match.
The first stolen Seven supply you should pick up can be found west of Logjam Lumberyard behind a rock.
Simply approach the pile of boxes, roll mats, and gas cans and press the interact button, and you’ll have collected one of the three stolen Seven supplies.
Next, you should make your way to the Gas Station beside The Fortress to collect another set of stolen Seven supplies.
You’ll find it in the fenced-off area beside the dumpster, so just press the interact button and you’ll have collected two of the three stolen Seven supplies needed.
The third and final set of stolen Seven supplies can be found Inside Command Cavern, underneath the stairs outside of the main building.
Command Cavern is a hot drop that will be full of IO Guards and other players, so be careful when finding the last set of stolen Seven supplies. But, simply press interact and you’ll have completed the Week 7 Quest and 20,000 XP will be yours.
Of course, you can head to any of the other stolen Seven supplies to complete this Quest, this is simply the quickest and easiest route to complete the Quest in only one match.
